Williams Olander Interior Design is a full service design firm with experience in new construction as well as renovation of residential and commercial interiors. Our first objective is to develop a rapport with our clients. We listen to their wants and needs and skillfully guide them toward solutions to ensure their distinct personality and lifestyle is expressed in every room. We oversee every aspect of the design process, from architectural detailing to material selection and furniture coordination, ensuring a seamless, streamlined project from beginning to end.

Carl Williams, Founder/Partner, holds a Master of Arts Degree in Interior Design from Washington State University, with over 40 years of design experience, has had the pleasure of designing for three generations of clients. Carl’s creative talent and the personality of the client merge to create an environment that is highly functional, visually striking and personally inspiring.

Michelle Olander, Partner/Business Operations, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Western Washington University, and brings more than 25 years of design experience to the team. Michelle helps clients create their vision by providing experience based design expertise and vast product knowledge. Her coordination and oversight of complex projects provides the perfect collaboration between homeowners, architects and contractors.

Bookkeeping / Design Assistant

As our newest member of the team, Julie manages the accounting for Williams Olander Interior Design. She brings over 22 years of experience building client relationships and managing accounts. Julie’s developed her business knowledge with over 14 years working with the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, as well as 8 years as a small business owner. She loves the energy and creative dynamics of working alongside both Carl and Michelle.
